303 Aerospace Protectant on 'Glad-Hands'

 What is a Glad Hand?

Well hang on a doggone minute, we’ll tell you.

If you were a trucker, you’d already know about glad hands (and your music choices would probably be different, too).

Glad hands are the locking mechanism for air lines that go from the tractor to the trailers’ air brakes.

In cold weather, rain and condensation freezes the parts together making it VERY difficult to break apart.  Often it is necessary to use a hammer to break it free.

Smart truckers….well, smart truckers who know about 303 anyway….treat the glad hand components with 303 Aerospace Protectant.  The parts don’t freeze together.  The glad hand levers apart like a dream. 

Of course, you have to apply 303 Aerospace Protectant when the temperature is above freezing because of the distilled water carrier.  Spray on, wipe dry.  No more problem.
